Crochet is the practice of creating textiles by interlocking yarn with a hooked needle.
Intertwining the yarn aspires to lay a foundation for those interested to tangle into the art of crocheting. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a hands on understanding of crocheting and its therapeutic properties.

ABOUT THE MENTOR
Mini Tamang (@miniwaiba.tamang) is a Kathmandu based artist who primarily works in textiles, specifically yarn. Her fascination with yarn comes from her core childhood memories of her aunt teaching her to knit. Through her practice she revisits her childhood memories, and she describes her work as “Beautiful moments of Childhood”. As an artist she wants to create art that can relate to people in an aesthetic sense. To achieve this, she creates harmony through vivid color coordination so that people can visually feel her work. In August of 2022, she exhibited her collections at Nepal Art Council. Mini also successfully completed her degree in Bachelor in Fine Arts from Kathmandu University in December Of the same year.
